Ghosts

Ghosts

By:

They just sort of drift around.

Some people think they have places to go,

And people who they care about.

And secretive business.

But I don’t.

I just think they’re not finished.

Drifting and looking

Around at all that there is to see.

Not malicious.

Or greedy or spiteful.

Just not finished.

All they aim to do is observe.

What could have been; what is.

Yet people are afraid.

Almost like fear of old people

Bird-watching.

Not very terrifying.
