Stutter

Stutter

By:

Emily Stone

The reflection

in the window

stutters with the passing

of a plane.

she watches the glass,

turning

what was lucid

into dream

standing at his door,

the bell already rung,

now she hopes

for no reply

To be that, she thinks,

the ripples

and their changes

and the reflection of the sky

To be that instead

of human,

here,

alive.
