I looked across the glossy stream. The mystery of the other side more seductive than the girls in bikinis sitting on the sand sipping their drinks. I dove in and loved the way silence consumed me. Eyes closed with no regard to which way I was going. The current was pushing softly on the side of my head, like an uncomfortable pressure. Swimming to somewhere I didn’t know.
