Editor in Chief
Olivia Riel is a senior and this year’s Editor in Chief, her second year on staff. She enjoys drawing, writing, and listening to music in her free time.
Alix Berhang
Head of Writing
Alix Berhang is the head of writing this year. It is her second year on staff. She loves reading and listening to music. She is so excited to be a part of the 25-26 issue!
Ellie Macfarlan
Head of Art
Ellie Macfarlan (a junior) is 2 blessed 2 be stressed as the Head of Art on her second year of working with the amazing Spectator Magazine. Her time is spent crying over books, painting/drawing/writing, watching comedies/period pieces, playing varsity soccer for WJ, and working as costume crew chief for WJ Stage.
Defne Sahin
Head of Interview
Defne Sahin (Grade 10) is the Head of Interview. She has a second black belt degree in Taekwondo Martial Arts and has participated as a cast member on WJ STAGE. She absolutely loves reading, drawing, writing and meeting new people.

Caz Ruhlen is a senior at Walter Johnson participating in her first year on Spectator. She has a soft spot for baby bats and likes to make jewelry or music in her free time

Claire Jiang is in her junior year at WJ. This is her second year being on the Spectator team, and she is delighted to be a part of it. She spends her time listening to music, baking, reading, taking photos,
and hanging out with her friends.

Lucy Stutz is a Junior here at WJ, and it is her first year on Spectator. She plays for the WJ Varsity
Girls soccer team and is vice president of the WJ Breast Cancer Awareness Club. She loves reading,
writing, and listening to music in her free time.
